I co-produced this innovative outdoor festival for 3 years from 2007 – 2009 with Claire Teasdale from Bristol City Council. Based in inner city Bristol, we filled a beautiful Georgian square with outdoor performance of all kinds.

The highlights that have stayed with me are the projects that the Without Walls consortium brought such as Motionhouse Dance and Stop Gap Theatre co, the ridiculous antics of Bearded Kitten (particularly banana fishing!), an astounding visit from Circolombia, the first incarnation of the incomparable Carny Ville, colourful umbrellas in trees by Barbara Disney  and a creepy visit from Bootworks’s Little Shop of Horrors.
